Storytelling constitute a central part of this hotel which actually consists of two 500 year-old inns and a modern building. A marvellous blend of old and new is what await guests when visiting Hotel Caspar. After two years of careful renovation, the property opened up in March 2022, presenting beautiful design by architect Tilla Theus. The three houses that make up Hotel Caspar are called ‘Wolf’, ‘Adler’ and ‘Oxen’ (wolf, eagle and oxe), leaving us delicate clues as to what we can expect from the property. Nature and gastronomy is at the heart of Caspar that holds 50 rooms in total as well as two gourmet restaurants. One of these relies on fine dining using fire, smoke and charcoal whereas the other one is a modern village restaurant serving hot food all day. Acclaimed chef, Sebastian Rabe, is in charge of both.
