HOTEL HEIDEN, HEIDEN, APPENZELL

An oasis of relaxation high above Lake Constance bordering Germany and Switzerland, Hotel Heiden is a must-visit for hedonists looking to combine both nature, wellness and gastronomy.
The hotel has been closed for renovations for 3 months and will re-open their doors on April 14th 2022 presenting brand new facilities. An investment of 7,8 million Swiss Francs has made sure that this property stand out from the rest (44 out of 58 rooms have been renovated), but the breathtaking view of Lake Constance remains the same. Style-wise, Hotel Heiden fits the term ‘laidback luxury’ with its nature-inspired interior and materials as well as modern, light-flooded rooms.

DREI-HÄUSER-HOTEL CASPAR, MURI

Storytelling constitute a central part of this hotel which actually consists of two 500 year-old inns and a modern building. A marvellous blend of old and new is what await guests when visiting Hotel Caspar. After two years of careful renovation, the property opened up in March 2022, presenting beautiful design by architect Tilla Theus. The three houses that make up Hotel Caspar are called ‘Wolf’, ‘Adler’ and ‘Oxen’ (wolf, eagle and oxe), leaving us delicate clues as to what we can expect from the property. Nature and gastronomy is at the heart of Caspar that holds 50 rooms in total as well as two gourmet restaurants. One of these relies on fine dining using fire, smoke and charcoal whereas the other one is a modern village restaurant serving hot food all day. Acclaimed chef, Sebastian Rabe, is in charge of both.

HOTEL ERINGER, HÉRÉMENCE, LES 4 VALLÉES

If skiing (and high altitudes) is just your thing, this new hotel located 1800 meters above sea level in Switzerland’s famous ski area, Les 4 Vallées, could be your next destination!
The pistes are literally right in front of Hotel Eringer, which also presents stunning panorama mountain views from its 500 m2 terrace.

RUBY CLAIRE, GENEVA

The old town of Geneva is about to welcome a new neighbour; the elegant Ruby Claire which is set to open its doors in May 2022. The concept is cosy, affordable and chic – with a prime location in the center of Geneva. Well thought out design and features characterizes this property, which will give its guest a great value for money. There are 221 rooms in different categories, but the real heart of the hotel is the bar where guests can relax throughout the day. HÔTELS DES HORLOGERS, LE BRASSUS, VALLÉE DE JOUX

A hotel opening many watch lovers has been looking forward too; the launch of Hôtel des Horlogers in Le Brassus. The owner of the hotel is the Swiss luxury watch brand Audemar Piguet who will offer its guests 50 elegant rooms (of which 12 are suites), two restaurants, a bar, a wellness center and conference rooms. The architecture is really what sets this magnificent property apart from the rest; based on the topography of Vallée de Joux, it integrates its building with zigzagging terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows giving stunning panoramic views to everyone who stays here. Deeply rooted in sustainability, all interior is made from local stone and wood, and the property is heated with wood.
The three-Michelin-starred chef Emmanuel Renaut is in charge of the culinary delights at Hôtel des Horlogers which is set to open its doors in summer 2022.

FIVE HOTEL, ZÜRICH

The former Hotel Atlantis in Zurich will re-open its doors as the luxurious lifestyle hotel FIVE in July 2022. Boasting 87 suites and 62 contemporary rooms, this hotel is dubbed the new dining and nightlife destination in Switzerland. Staying here is like stepping into a different world – a world where all senses are in focus. Accommodating seven gastronomy and party locations, guests will find a streetfood restaurant, a Chinese gourmet restaurant, a Japanese lounge concept (connected to the rooftop nightclub), a fine dining fusion restaurant, a wine lounge and a café and bar area. SIX SENSES RESORT, CRANS-MONTANA
